Direct Debit is a payment instrument with which the customer authorizes his/her bank through his/her company to withdraw funds directly from the bank account. This instrument provides a standardized and automated way that is suitable for regular and repetitive payments, ex. Bills of KEDS, water, etc.
Upon customer’s request, direct debit can also be initiated by BPB.
BPB offers internationally accepted VISA cards. With these cards you can make withdrawals at any ATM or make payment at POS terminals, 24/7 both in your country and abroad.
VISA Classic-Deferred Debit Card is a new concept of debit card which does not charge your account for cash withdrawals or payment executions.

Do not worry about the variety of currencies (conversion, exchange rate). No matter what country you are in and no matter which currency you are paying with, the account that you have chosen to attach to your card will be debited for the amount spent. In the case of transactions in Euros, your account will be debited without any additional cost, with the exception of cash withdrawals from ATMs.
All you have to do is collect an application form requesting the card at your nearest BPB branch and fill it out. The card will be ready for you within 2 weeks! Immediately after receiving the card, you must put your signature in designated space on the back of the card. Remember to keep secret your personal identification number (PIN). Do not carry it together with your card.
When you make payments using your Visa Card, you will get a slip which you must sign. Keep a copy of the slip for your personal records. Always check the amount and currency on the slip before signing it! Once you use your card at an ATM remember to collect it when it pops back out, otherwise it will be withheld within the ATM for security reasons.
Do not keep your card near the sources of electromagnetic radiation (batteries, cellular phones, radiators). Electronic information in the magnetic layer of the card can be erased or damaged, resulting in technical failure of the card.
Before traveling abroad, please check your account balance! In case of changes to your personal data, any damage or technical failure of the card, or if you forget the personal identification number (PIN), please notify BPB staff at your nearest branch accordingly.
Visa Electron is a debit payment card which offers you the opportunity to withdraw cash from all BPB ATMs in the country and abroad, with no provision.
ATM withdrawals at NLB Prishtina are charged with 0.20 euros for each withdrawal. While all other withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs (in the country and abroad) are charged at 2.5% of the withdrawal amount, minimum 3.00 euro.
This card is issued for a period of three years, while the period of validity expires on the last day of the month noted on the card’s front side. When changing the card, it is necessary to return your old Visa Electron, which will be destroyed in your presence by BPB staff and will then be replaced by a new card.
The only requirement for receiving a Visa Electron debit card is to have a current account with BPB. In case you do not have an account, use our favorable offers for new clients.
