BPB has been awarded the Silver Award by SME Finance Forum

BPB has been awarded the Silver Award in the category ‘Financier of the Year’ by the prestigious SME Finance Forum.

First and foremost, in the name of all of us at BPB, I’D like to thank the SME Finance Forum for bestowing us with the Silver Award for the Financier of the Year category. We’re humbled and privileged to have received such an award, from such a prestigious institution.

BPB is a local bank in Kosovo which targets the MSME sector in the country. We have witnessed steady and stable growth during the past decade, mainly due to our wholesome approach to service this niche of the market.  To ensure long-term and prosperous relationship for the bank and the businesses that we serve, BPB is not only a financial partner to these enterprises, but more of a strategic partner that eclipses the traditional services offered by banking industry, and incorporates new and innovative way to further help the development of businesses.

One such initiative, was the creation of Business Academies or so called non-financial services, a project co-sponsored with EBRD.

Business academies or non-financial services are considered as a competitive advantage in the market and are an added value for MSMEs. Academies offered by BPB cover a range of topics aiming at improving the strategic development and ensuring the long term stability of the MSME sector in Kosovo.

Employing local and international experts, with more than 35 years’ experience in corresponding fields, attending entrepreneurs were able to learn more about: Strategic Planning, Smart future Planning, Sustainable financing, Energy Efficiency, Financial management, Marketing strategy, and other important subjects for running a successful business. This additional and innovative service, we at BPB believe, will increase the ‘doing business’ capabilities of the participants to another level. Furthermore, the approach also confirms BPB devotion and dedication towards this sector of the economy, which represents the main pillar of Kosovo’s’ economy.

Lastly, the awards such as the one that we have received from SME Finance Forum, confirms that our innovative approach is yielding results and it is being noticed and appreciated.
