{"id":4073,"date":"2026-08-10T15:59:32","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T15:59:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/csr\/four-weekends-a-deep-celebration-of-albanian-culture-in-gjakova\/"},"modified":"2026-09-02T16:32:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T16:32:50","slug":"four-weekends-a-deep-celebration-of-albanian-culture-in-gjakova","status":"publish","type":"csr","link":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/csr\/four-weekends-a-deep-celebration-of-albanian-culture-in-gjakova\/","title":{"rendered":"Four weekends, a deep celebration of albanian culture in Gjakova"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For four consecutive weekends, from July 17 to August 9, Gjakova was transformed into a vibrant stage for Albanian culture, art, music, and tradition through the third edition of the \u201cDitet e Shqiptarit\u201d festival.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized by the Gjakova Foundation, the festival featured an extensive cultural program that brought together music, film, visual arts, literature, theatre, sports, nature, and tradition. Activities took place across some of the city\u2019s most distinctive locations, including the Grand Bazaar, the \u201cAli Podrimja\u201d Cultural Park, the Jupa Bazaar, the Krena River, and other venues throughout Gjakova. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program of this edition featured 55 activities and 22 concerts, bringing some of the most renowned names in Albanian music to the festival stages, including Alban Sk\u00ebnderaj, Eugent Bushpepa, Rona Nishliu, Elita 5, Minatori, Tri Musk\u00ebtier\u00ebt, Dren Abazi, as well as many other artists and bands.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the concerts, the \u201cDays of Albanians\u201d festival also featured activities that brought together culture, nature, and tradition. One of the highlights was the traditional diving competition from the Fshajt Bridge, a tradition spanning more than 70 years. The program also included outdoor activities, artists\u2019 painting colonies, open-air cinema, sports activities, and a variety of other cultural experiences. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this way, the festival transformed the city itself into a stage, bringing residents, visitors, and the diaspora closer to Albanian culture while creating a space where tradition coexisted with art and contemporary forms of cultural expression.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the Bank of the Country, BPB is proud to have supported the \u201cDays of Albanians\u201d festival for the second consecutive year, contributing to an event that promotes cultural heritage, Albanian identity, and the vibrant cultural life of Gjakova.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four weekends, dozens of activities, and thousands of people brought together through music, art, tradition, and culture \u2014 once again this year, the \u201cDays of Albanians\u201d festival placed Gjakova at the heart of a shared celebration of Albanian culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4072,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-4073","csr","type-csr","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/csr\/4073","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/csr"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/csr"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4072"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bpbbank.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4073"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
